Tras el fracaso comercial de Chameleon y el quiebre con Noise Record, Weikath, ya no encuentra reparos dentro de sus compañeros por expulsar a Kiske, y reemplazarlo con su amigo Andi Deris. Lamentablemente Kiske se entera de esto del peor modo posible, es decir, por medio de terceros.
Kiske parece estampar toda su frustración y desencanto frente a su salida de Helloween en este álbum que por lejos será el mejor de su carrera, frente a sus posteriores e insípidos intentos de parodiar el rock suave y gusto a nada de U2, o Perl Jam. En este álbum aun nos encontramos al mismo Kiske de Helloween, el de los Keepers, o de los dos siguientes álbumes, claro que de un modo más confesional e intimo.
Pese a sus controversiales declaraciones en contra del metal y la música más fuerte, Michael Kiske sigue siendo recordado y valorado como uno de sus grandes interpretes en el micrófono, quien cuando intenta alejarse de este «su Kharma«, simplemente es para querer pasar por alto, como una mala broma y quedarnos con lo que hizo en Helloween, o en sus múltiples colaboraciones con músicos del metal, o bien con este instante de claridad, que por lejos es su mejor y mas sobresaliente trabajo solista.
